Thanks to the overwhelming public support through their letter writing and electronic petitions, the Province of Ontario has announced that the 60 million dollar redevelopment expansion will go ahead.

Construction is expected to start in fall 2007 early 2008.
With this announcement the Rouge Valley Health Care Board has reconfirmed its support to maintain service levels.
